Fellowes 3229901 Intellishred SB-99Ci Shredder. We have owned two small business class shredders. It is certainly the best I’ve used blender / property.

I got this to replace our reliable DM15C Fellowes Shredder. The unit still works fine, but the son of my daughter now has the dexterity and strength, which in theory allows you to open the sliding plastic CD / Credit Card dish served as the biggest obstacle between his small hands and the powerful grinding mechanism. Even after just one of our cats to enable fragmentation on two occasions in the past week, while you’re there as an intermediate step in the window of the office, it seemed like a problem occurs.

SAFE-Sense (Everyone should fragmentation)

The main thing I like about the SB-99Ci is the sense of security technology, the energy of crushing the leaves, when a hand (or any other body part) is too close to the knife. In addition to the non-necessary step in the power of the thing, if I am not on the technology seems a very good backup protection to ensure that my son saved up all his fingers into adulthood.

Sense of security technology is very effective. I did not realize that the work of your fingers, etc. when they come into contact with the cutting of metal that surrounds the shredder mouth (I thought the only decorative elements … but it works). This is a highly reliable detection methods (eg, VS / tryng motion or heat) and immediately turn off the shredder when it is active, or that applies to all those who have not yet begun. There is even a small LED display that illuminates when the sense of safety lock is activated, it is very easy to do from time to time. Of course, there is a well-hidden switch (this requires that the positive efforts for adaptation), which allows you to disable the sense of security if I do not want / need, but I can not think of any good reason why everyone wants to do.
