New Seller Protections for Ship with Walmart Labels

If you’re using Ship with Walmart (SWW), there’s some good news — Walmart is now adding seller protections for delivery issues that are out of your control. At GeekSeller, you can already buy and print Ship with Walmart labels directly in our interface, compare carrier rates side by side, and print them in bulk — saving you time and reducing mistakes. This update makes using SWW labels even more valuable.

What’s New

When you use a Ship with Walmart label, you’re now protected if an order is lost in transit or after delivery.

  • Walmart will automatically refund the customer up to $100.
  • They’ll handle the carrier claim for you.
  • Your performance metrics won’t be affected (for example, on-time delivery rate).

So if something goes wrong and it’s not your fault, Walmart has you covered — no more worrying about a lost package damaging your seller stats.

Important Details

To qualify for these protections, make sure:

  • You ship on or before the Ship By date.
  • Your account is in good standing and has seamless returns enabled.
  • You’re not disputing the return with the customer.

If all of that checks out, late or lost deliveries won’t count against your metrics.

Refunds and Coverage

If an order is lost and Walmart refunds the buyer:

  • You’re protected for up to $100 per order.
  • If the order is worth more, you’ll only be charged the difference.
  • Walmart will handle everything directly with the carrier — no action needed from you.

You can also add extra declared value protection (up to $500) when buying the label if your item is worth more than $100.

What’s Not Covered

  • Packages damaged in transit
  • Orders not shipped with a Ship with Walmart label
  • Improperly packaged or labeled items
  • Prohibited or restricted items
  • Labels purchased using your own carrier account

Why It Matters

These protections are offered at no extra cost and help reduce the risk for sellers using Ship with Walmart. It’s not technically insurance, but it gives you peace of mind — Walmart takes care of refunds and claims while keeping your metrics safe.

If you haven’t tried Ship with Walmart yet, now’s a great time — especially since you can manage it easily through GeekSeller with bulk label printing, rate comparison, and automation tools.
