USPS Launches Delivered Duty Paid for International Shipments

USPS has introduced a new international service called USPS Delivered Duty Paid, or DDP. This option allows sellers to prepay import duties, taxes, and fees at the time of shipping, based on the destination country’s requirements. The goal is simple. Remove surprise fees for buyers. With DDP, the recipient does not have to pay anything on delivery related to customs charges. This helps reduce failed deliveries, unhappy customers, and delays caused by unpaid duties.
