What is Buy Box
When multiple merchants sell the same item on Walmart.com, all offers are shown on one page. However, only one offer wins the Buy Box, and this seller takes the vast majority of sales.
How to win Buy Box
There are several factors that determine the winner:
-
Shipping
Use quality shipping services and a reputable 3PL for timely deliveries, or outsource logistics and warehousing to Walmart through WFS.
-
Performance Score

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the repricer also increase the price?
Yes, the repricer uses your strategy to maintain the specified distance from the competition. So if the competitor increases the price, your price will also increase. Additionally, if your offer becomes the only available offer (there is no competition), you can instruct the repricer to change the price back to the original value.
Can the repricer guarantee to win the buy box?
The lowest price usually means you can win the buy box. Price is the most important factor, but it is not the only factor that determines winning. Other important aspects are shipping speed and price, your sales history, and performance (stats such as returns, on-time delivery, etc.). This means you might often have the lowest price yet still not win the buy box.
What kind of items do well on Repricer?
Items that already have site traffic and competition either on Walmart.com or other websites benefit most from automated repricing.
What happens if all my competitors’ pricing is now higher than mine?
The Repricer looks at recent price action to match your competitors’ pricing.
My item is on the Buy Box Price strategy rule and priced the lowest, but it is not winning the Buy Box. Why?
Although pricing is one of the key factors that help determine a Buy Box winner, Walmart analyzes all attributes of your item listing, in addition to inventory and pricing, when determining the Buy Box winner. It is possible that the lowest-priced offer does not win the Buy Box every time.
How often does the tool reprice my items?
The pricing speed varies depending on the repricing strategy rule you chose and the site traffic of an item. The repricing action trigger quickly but may take up to four hours to reflect on the site. If an item is in high demand, we compare data at a higher frequency for faster repricing.
What happens if the competitor’s price is lower than my floor price?
If the competing price for your pricing strategy is lower than your floor price, the Repricer will update your price to the floor price.
Example: if one of your items on the External Price strategy rule has a floor price of $10.00 with a Beat By value of $0.50, but the external site price is at $9.00, your price will change to $10.00 and not any lower.

How does GeekSeller repricer work?
GeekSeller provides an interface to easily set up your strategies for pricing and turn on and off repricer on your products. GeekSeller does not send prices to Walmart, nor do we perform calculations. GeekSeller utilizes a repricer tool that is hosted and operated by Walmart. This ensures the fastest operations with minimum delays.
"I contacted and reviewed 4 different service providers, and Geekseller offered the best value compared to the others. I received excellent customers service. The team was quick to reply to my questions and helped to solve a minor problem with Amazon MCF. Highly recommended."
