Walmart is rolling out a new cross border program called Walmart Exports. If this sounds familiar, it is very similar to Amazon’s FBA Export program. Customers in Canada and Mexico will be able to buy eligible items directly on Walmart.com, with international delivery handled entirely by Walmart. No new marketplaces, no separate inventory, and no changes to your fulfillment workflow.
If you are a WFS seller, this is opt out, not opt in. Eligible items will be enrolled automatically.

What Walmart Exports is
Customers in Canada and Mexico can order eligible Walmart.com products. Orders are fulfilled from your existing US WFS inventory and shipped internationally by Walmart’s logistics partners. More countries will be added over time.
Who is included
Only WFS items are eligible. Seller fulfilled items are not supported at this time. All eligible WFS sellers are automatically enrolled.
Cost and fees
- There is no additional program fee. You continue to pay standard WFS and referral fees only.
- International shipping fees, import duties, and taxes are paid by the customer at checkout.
Inventory and operations
- You do not need separate inventory or new inbound workflows.
- You send inventory to WFS the same way as today. Sales forecasts may increase due to additional international demand.
Orders, reporting, and payouts
- International orders appear together with US orders.
- There is no special order flag, but you can add a Ship to column to see the destination country.
- You are paid in USD, the same as regular Walmart.com orders.
Returns and customer support
- Returns follow the same WFS return rules you already use.
- Your Keep It Rules and return settings apply to international orders.
- Walmart handles customer support.
- If import duties or taxes are refunded, Walmart covers those amounts.
Importer and compliance note
Customers act as the importer of record, which reduces seller involvement on the import side. You are still responsible for making sure items are compliant and eligible for export.

Language and customer experience
- Customers can browse in English or Spanish.
- Product pages may be translated automatically based on user settings.
Control and opt out
- You can opt out of the entire program, specific countries, or individual items in Seller Center under Shipping Profile > Walmart Exports.
- If you stay enrolled, new eligible WFS items are automatically added.
Eligibility reminder
Not all categories are supported. Common exclusions include food and supplements, cosmetics, baby products, toys, medical devices, hazardous materials, oversized items, and products priced above $2,500. Only items stored in certain WFS fulfillment centers are eligible.
Timing
Walmart plans to launch Walmart Exports in early 2026.
If you already use WFS, this expands your addressable market with no operational changes. The main action is to review item eligibility and opt out where needed.
See the Walmart knowledge base page on Walmart Exports for full details, exclusions, and terms. You must be logged in to Seller Center to access it.
