Walmart Expands Ship with Walmart Discounts: Up to 35% Off 2-Day Labels

Walmart has announced another benefit for sellers using Ship with Walmart (SWW). As of September 2026, eligible Rising, Advanced, and Pro Sellers can receive up to 15% off 3-day shipping labels and up to 35% off 2-day labels when the shipping speed selected matches the delivery promise shown to the customer.

The discount applies when the shipping speed matches the delivery promise shown to the customer.

For sellers shipping many Walmart orders themselves, this can mean significant savings.

What is Ship with Walmart?

Ship with Walmart allows Marketplace sellers to purchase discounted USPS, UPS, and FedEx shipping labels directly through Walmart.

Sellers still store, pack, and ship their own inventory, but Walmart provides negotiated shipping rates and additional protections.

Some of the main benefits include:

  • Discounted shipping rates
  • USPS, UPS, and FedEx labels
  • Automatic tracking
  • Seller protection for certain lost shipments
  • Protection of seller performance metrics for qualifying shipments
  • Up to $100 protection for certain lost orders
  • Additional declared value protection available for some shipments

What are Rising, Advanced, and Pro Sellers?

Walmart has three seller performance tiers:

Rising Seller → Advanced Seller → Pro Seller

The tier is based on metrics such as on-time delivery, cancellation rate, seller response rate, shipping speed, pricing, and listing quality.

Higher-performing sellers receive additional benefits, and these new SWW shipping discounts are now part of those benefits.

Why we like Ship with Walmart

At GeekSeller, we see SWW as more than just a way to get cheaper shipping labels.

One of the biggest benefits is seller protection.

For qualifying shipments, if a package is lost in transit or reported lost after delivery, Walmart may refund the customer without charging the seller, up to the applicable protection limit. Walmart also handles the carrier claim.

This can be especially helpful with one of the most frustrating problems sellers face: customers reporting that a package was never received even when tracking shows delivery.

SWW will not prevent every refund or fraud situation, but it can help reduce the seller’s risk.

We recently included Ship with Walmart as one of the strategies in our guide covering ways Walmart sellers can reduce losses from returns, refunds, and fraud.

Ship with Walmart in GeekSeller

GeekSeller integrates directly with Ship with Walmart.

Sellers can use GeekSeller to:

  • Buy and print SWW labels
  • Print labels in bulk
  • Compare shipping rates
  • Automate shipping service selection
  • Send tracking back to Walmart automatically
  • Manage Walmart orders together with other marketplaces

For sellers who already qualify for Rising, Advanced, or Pro Seller status, the new discounts make SWW even more interesting.

Up to 35% off 2-day shipping, combined with Walmart’s seller protections, can create meaningful savings while also reducing some of the risk around delivery claims and refunds.
