FedEx introduces picture proof of delivery

FedEx will soon start offering Picture Proof of Delivery for express and ground residential deliveries in the U.S. and Canada that are released without a signature. Photos will be accessible through FedEx tracking tools and will not require an account or log-in. This service will be free and will not require enrollment.

Picture proof has been around for some time now, for example, widely used by Amazon delivery drivers. It is nice to see this becoming a standard. Pictures proof of delivery shows you that your package is safe on arrival and helps with investigating lost packages.
