Home Depot Expands Express Delivery Nationwide as Q2 2026 Sales Reach $47.9B

The Home Depot continues to invest heavily in faster fulfillment. On August 18, 2026 the company announced the nationwide rollout of Express Delivery, allowing customers to receive thousands of products in three hours or less for a small flat fee, with no subscription or membership required.

The service uses more than 2,000 Home Depot stores across the U.S. as local fulfillment hubs. It covers thousands of SKUs across categories such as plumbing, electrical, hardware, paint, tools, and everyday project supplies. Home Depot also says it plans to offer even faster delivery speeds in the coming months.

This is especially interesting for drop-ship sellers. GeekSeller has a growing list of sellers selling on Home Depot, and we help businesses connect to the marketplace through Rithum. Sellers can use GeekSeller to manage Home Depot orders and inventory alongside their other marketplaces and sales channels. Read more about how GeekSeller connects to Home Depot via Rithum here.

The delivery announcement came on the same day as Home Depot’s Q2 fiscal 2026 financial results. The company reported sales of $47.9 billion, an increase of 5.7% year over year, while U.S. comparable sales increased 1.3%. Net earnings reached $4.8 billion, compared with $4.6 billion during the same quarter last year.

Home Depot also reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 guidance, expecting total sales growth of approximately 2.5% to 4.5% and comparable sales growth between flat and 2%. The company plans to open approximately 15 new stores during the fiscal year.

With faster delivery, continued investment in fulfillment, and growing sales, Home Depot is continuing to strengthen both its physical retail network and its role as an important ecommerce channel.
