Review your Walmart product content for authenticity claims

As outlined in the latest Walmart Marketplace Seller Digest: “You can no longer make authenticity claims in product titles or product details. Any items with product titles or product details that include authenticity claims will be unpublished from Walmart.com unless you obtained Walmart’s express approval for the claim prior to December 22, 2023.”

So, if not approved, avoid things like:

  • “100% Authentic”
  • “Genuine”
  • “Real”
  • “Certified Authentic”
  • “Official”
  • “Verified Authenticity”
  • “Authentic Guaranteed”
  • “Original”
  • “Legitimate”
  • “Authorized”
