Over the last year, Walmart put a lot of effort into making their dashboard more user-friendly, especially in terms of products management. They have introduced a Growth Opportunities section with many tools to help sellers identify listings issues and ways to improve them. Walmart Search Insights is another step to provide even more convenience. It is a powerful analytic tool that can significantly increase conversion and maximize sales when used correctly.

Where to find Walmart Search Insights

The most important job of Walmart Search Insights is to give you feedback on the search results of your items and instructions on what to do to rank higher. It is an excellent tool for product SEO optimization. In principle, it is designed to help you understand these four key aspects:

  • Where your listings are showing up on Walmart.com
  • How your listings are performing in terms of impressions, clicks, add-to-cart, and orders in customer search.
  • The top search queries for each item.
  • Actions you can take to try to improve an item’s search performance.

The last point is particularly interesting as on Walmart Search Insights you can view the individual listing details. In this view, you can find suggestions that can help you improve your product search optimization. For example, keyword recommendations will show you from 3 to 5 keywords that you can add to your title or description for SEO.
