How to offer One Day and Two Day shipping on Walmart

Walmart has simplified access to its expedited delivery programs. You no longer need to request approval. Once your account meets the eligibility requirements, enrollment into One Day and Two Day shipping is automatic. Walmart has also updated the performance standards required to qualify.

1-Day or 2-Day Shipping Badge Based on Walmart Marketplace Requirements

To become eligible, you must have an active Seller Center account and meet Walmart’s minimum performance metrics over the last 30 days:

  • On time delivery rate above 90 percent
  • Valid tracking rate above 95 percent
  • Cancellation rate below 1.5 percent
  • Be a Walmart Marketplace seller for more than 90 days, or
  • Complete at least 20 orders in the last 30 days that meet these standards

Once you are eligible, the next step is configuring your shipping settings so Walmart can correctly calculate and display expedited delivery promises.

Once eligible, you can apply expedited shipping in two ways:

  • Use Simplified Shipping Settings, where Walmart calculates delivery times based on your fulfillment setup and recommends faster services
  • Use Manual Shipping Templates to assign One Day or Two Day shipping at the SKU or template level

For best results and to keep the fast shipping badge:

  • Set lag time to 0 for expedited offers
  • Keep inventory accurate across all fulfillment locations
  • Use a later order cutoff time when possible, such as 5 PM local time
  • Enable weekend delivery if your carriers support it
  • Use reliable carrier services that can consistently meet delivery promises

Once configured, eligible listings receive better search visibility, a fast shipping badge, and a stronger Buy Box advantage, helping drive higher conversion and GMV.
