Top Announcements from Walmart’s 2025 Seller Summit

This year’s announcements highlight Walmart’s commitment to lowering costs, improving fulfillment speed, and creating more opportunities for sellers to win during the holiday season and beyond. Walmart shared a series of important updates and incentives for sellers, which we’ve summarized below.

Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)

  • Next-day shipping expansion: Coverage has improved by 80% year-over-year, now reaching even more metro areas across the U.S.
  • New import ports: Cross Border Imports now support Full Container Load (FCL) shipments from Haiphong and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, as well as Nhava Sheva and Tuticorin in India.
  • UPS added as a carrier: Sellers can now choose between UPS and FedEx when booking shipments at Walmart-negotiated rates.
  • Multichannel fulfillment: Walmart’s Multichannel Solutions allow sellers to fulfill orders from Amazon, eBay, Shein, Target Plus, Temu, and more—with 97% on-time delivery rates.

Limited-time WFS offers:

  • Waived peak storage fees from October 1 to December 31, 2025.
  • Up to 30% off fulfillment fees through January 31, 2026, when using Multichannel Solutions.

Seller Fulfilled Solutions

  • Ship with Walmart: Protect orders up to $100 and safeguard your on-time delivery metrics by using Walmart’s shipping labels.
  • Simplified returns: A new Returns dashboard and Partial Keep It refund options make returns management easier.
  • Bonus offer: Sign up for Simplified Shipping Settings and get 30% off referral fees.

Referral Fee Savings

  • Zero referral fees on all Toys.
  • 50% off referral fees on all Pet items.
  • Up to 100% off referral fees on Customer Favorites across categories.
  • 10% off referral fees when you add new items to Walmart’s Repricer.

Seasonal Resources

  • Walmart launched the 2025 Holiday Hub, a one-stop shop for resources, updates, and learning sessions to help sellers maximize holiday sales.
