Walmart is making the 2025 holiday season a little easier for sellers using Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) and Multichannel Solutions (MCS). From October 1 to December 31, 2025, WFS is waiving peak season storage fees.
This means sellers won’t have to pay the usual $1.50 per cubic foot per month for inventory stored over 30 days during this busy time. Instead, only the standard storage fee of $0.75 per cubic foot will apply.
It’s a great opportunity to stock up early and prepare for the holiday rush without the extra storage costs that usually come with Q4.
A few key details:
- Only peak season storage fees are waived. Long-term storage fees still apply.
- The waiver applies to both WFS and MCS programs.
The storage discount will be applied automatically. No action is required from sellers.
If you’re not yet using WFS, this is a great time to consider it. With holiday sales coming up fast, this move gives sellers more flexibility to grow.
