Walmart is updating the Listing Quality dashboard and introducing a new component of the score called the Shipping score. This new score will soon become part of your overall Listing Quality rating, reflecting how many customers you can offer fast and free delivery to. Walmart is clearly doubling down on fast shipping and making it a bigger factor in how your listings are ranked and discovered.
The goal is simple: sellers who provide quick and reliable delivery will be rewarded with a higher Listing Quality score, better visibility, and stronger competitiveness. If you offer fast and free shipping (three days or less) or use Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS), your offers can automatically get a 100% Shipping score.
Along with the new score, Walmart is also updating the dashboard with more actionable insights. You will be able to see exactly which areas need improvement across key categories like Published and In Stock, Ratings and Reviews, Shipping, Content quality, and Price competitiveness. Each category is ranked as Poor, Good, or Excellent, helping you decide where to focus your efforts.
Your Listing Quality score is designed to show how customers see your published items and how competitive your offers are. The dashboard helps you review your overall score, see performance by item, and even make large-scale updates through spreadsheet uploads.

- Highlights from the Listing Quality system
- The score measures how strong your offer is across availability, reviews, shipping speed, content quality, and price.
- Items that are fast and free to ship (or shipped with WFS) earn the highest Shipping score.
- You can review performance by category, find items that need attention, and improve your score directly from Seller Center.
- Spreadsheet tools allow updating many items at once.
- Insights show GMV, page views, customer favorites, conversion rate, and more.
Walmart is putting more pressure on sellers to provide fast delivery, and the new Shipping score makes this requirement even clearer. If you want your listings to stay competitive, focusing on speed and reliability will now matter more than ever.
Walmart published a detailed guide covering the full calculation and best practices. You can review it in the Listing Quality guide for more information.
