Walmart quietly rolled out its Marketplace Seller Forum (you need to be a logged-in seller), which until now was available only to selected sellers in a gated beta. It’s now open to everyone — and this is a big step.
Amazon has had its own seller forum for years, and it’s one of the most active communities for marketplace discussions. Walmart seems to be following a similar model — but with a clean, modern design, anonymous usernames, and moderation by Walmart employees. You can like, comment, report, or bookmark threads, and even earn badges for your activity.

The forum is organized into easy-to-navigate categories such as:
- Getting started
- My account
- Catalog setup & management
- Walmart Fulfillment Services
- Seller Fulfillment Services
- Order management & performance
- Growth tools
- Advertising
- APIs & partner applications
- Policies
Forum Guidelines (in short):
- Be respectful, constructive, and accurate.
- Avoid sharing pricing or competitive info.
- Keep your identity private — all usernames are anonymous.
- No spam, ads, or off-topic posts.
- Walmart moderators may edit or remove posts to keep discussions clean.
This is a very welcome move by Walmart — a proper community space where sellers can learn, share, and connect directly under Walmart’s moderation.

Along with the forum, Walmart added a series of Skills Certification Courses — short, structured lessons that teach sellers how to use Walmart Marketplace effectively. These are official courses made by Walmart, so there’s no need to buy training from self-proclaimed “Walmart gurus.” Some of them are labeled certified, though it’s not yet clear what the certification entails — something to watch.
